About Marilyn Buettner
Born and raised in Michigan and graduated with a bachelor of arts in Spanish and history from Western Michigan University
Taught Spanish 101/102 for one year as a teaching assistant at WMU
Taught Spanish in Lake Forest, Illinois, for five years
Worked as a publishing sales representative for the college division of John Wiley & Sons in the Chicago area for six years
Worked in electronics sales for the Telesales Department at Avnet in Tempe for two years
Stayed home to raise two children in Fountain Hills with husband Kevin
Taught Spanish for the elementary program at McDowell Mountain Elementary and Four Peaks
Hobbies are hiking, mountain biking, photography, and sewing

About Mariya Kremer
Miss Kremer is originally from the Russian Federation (town of Tver). She graduated with a bachelor’s of science in accountancy from Arizona State University before pursuing teaching certification in the state of Arizona. Prior to teaching, she has worked in the financial industry, tutoring, and translation/interpretation. She speaks Russian, English, and Spanish and has experience teaching all three as foreign languages. Apart from teaching, she enjoys film, ballet, and hot tea.
