Parents, we encourage you to stay in constant communication with your child's teacher. Successful education does not stop at the end of the school day. Parents need to reinforce what their children learn in the classroom and create an environment in the home that facilitates learning. If you have any questions regarding your child's education, please contact his/her teacher to discuss the situation.

About Catherine Andreadis
I am originally from London, England and although I have been in the United States for almost four years, I’m told that I still have a very strong London accent! Before coming to the United States I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Sheffield and worked in banking. Part of my role at the bank was organizing and delivering a financial education program to local elementary schools, and it was this experience that helped me realize my ambition and passion for teaching.
Since moving to the United States I have graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in biology, and I am currently certified to teach biology, chemistry, and psychology. I am a recent transplant to Arizona, having lived in Illinois previously, and have been told that surviving the first summer is usually a challenge!
I really enjoy bringing inquiry into my teaching because having the ability and skill to make observations, research a topic, and then use the information has many applications both within and beyond the sciences. I am looking forward to helping students develop these skills through labs and science fair projects.
