Principal’s Welcome Letter
July 27, 2021
Hello, Falcon Families!
It is an honor and a privilege to be serving as your principal of Fountain Hills High School (FHHS) as I begin my 20th year in education. I am committed to continuing the positive, lifelong-learning culture that has been long-established at FHHS. I know these are challenging times that we’ve had to adapt to and overcome, but we are here to support one another as a community to ensure that our students have everything they need to succeed, both during their time at FHHS and beyond.
I wanted to make you aware of the upcoming back-to-school schedule of events:
Monday, August 9 is Falcon Fest. This is a time for students to get their IDs and photos taken, meet their teachers, learn about clubs and activities, meet other community vendors, get parking passes, and to have outstanding questions answered. We will welcome each grade to come to the main gym during the following open-house schedule:
- 9th Graders from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m.
- 10th Graders from 10:00 a.m. to Noon
- 11th Graders from Noon to 2:00 p.m.
- 12th Graders from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
We look forward to welcoming all students back to full-time in-person instruction on Tuesday, August 10, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.
I will be working closely with our new assistant principal, Darren Hiebel, and athletics director and dean of students, Evelyn Wynn. The three of us look forward to meeting all of our families and students, and for us to have an exceptional 2021–2022 school year together!
